The basis kit allows flexible cloning of evoglow genes in your personal vector system. It contains three different evoglow proteins encoded respectively with and without STOP-codons on high-copy plasmids. One the one hand, these provide ideal PCR templates. On the other, they contain a series of restriction sites for simple recloning in other specialized vector systems. Please note that the plasmids in the evoglow basic kit are unsuitable for direct expression. If that is your aim, choose the express kit instead.

The evoglow express kit contains a number of plasmids for the expression of evoglow genes in a broad host spectrum of Gram-negative bacteria. Expression can be both induced (T7-expression) and constitutive (kan promoter).

The fusion kit was conceived to generate transcriptional fusion proteins. It utilizes plasmids that contain three evoglow genes, each flanked by symmetrical multiple cloning sites (MCS). This configuration allows very easy cloning in single restriction sites, for example when carrying out studies on promoters.

The evoglow yeast kit was developed for expressing evoglow proteins in yeast. It contains plasmids with various promoters (Gal and Act), as well as plasmids with single or double copies of the genes.

The evoglow clostridia kit was designed to express evoglow in Clostridia. It comprises the plasmids pGlow-C-Bs2 (Bacillus subtilis) and pGlow-C-Pp1 (Pseudomonas putida) for Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria respectively. The genes are cloned SacI / BamH1 into multiple cloning site of pUCC18 allowing individual subcloning under the control of the promotor of your choice.

evoglow antibodies will detect successfully expressed reporter proteins in various systems using western blotting. They are produced in rabbits using PAGE-purified evoglow fluorescent protein as immunogen.
