Solutions for efficient Biocatalysis

evocatal is your partner in the field of „white biotechnology“, especially for enzyme-catalyzed processes. Our goal is to develop new and improved enzymes for chemical synthesis and to market enzyme-based processes and products.

The name evocatal connects the terms ‘evolution’ and ‘catalysis’ and stands for the core competencies of the company: tailor-made development of new enzymes for use in the production of complex low-molecular weight compounds for the chemical and pharmaceutical industry.

These areas of competencies also include the development and use of new expression and secretion systems, application of new screening methods as well as optimizing enzyme properties through molecular engineering.
